Board of Advisors, Association for Research on Ethnicity and Nationalism in the Americas

ARENA is an international organization of scholars engaged in exchange and collaboration across national and academic boundaries that grew out of a series of international conferences on nationalism in the Americas and the Atlantic world. The organization’s focus is nationalism, one of the central issues of our times. Though nationalism has been at the center of academic discussion, the Americas remain generally neglected. ARENA aims to broaden the current scope of the conversation on nationalism and review prevailing theories in light of the experience of the Americas.
